The American Quarter Horse Heritage Center & Museum is a building that will leave you in awe before you even have the chance to enter it. The outside of this building alone is an art piece and something to appreciate. However, once you get inside you will not be disappointed. The first floor alone is dedicated completely to the quarter horse and its history, along with how the different breeds were made, and there ancestry lines. Along with a life size statue from the famous Mehl Lawson, you can also go to the right hall and see a gallery full of art all about, you guessed it, western life and horses. Even if you are not a huge horse fan, this museum will have you entertained for hours. When you go upstairs, you get a chance to see a history of the horses, and how they fit in with world history. Along with memorabilia and art, this museum also features interactive learning station to get visitors of all ages involved.
