The Blue Whale is another fun, yet slightly romantic, place to visit. This giant Blue whale was built by Hugh Davis for his wife in the 70s, because that is what she loved to collect. However, over the years the locals loved to come and play in the pond around the whale, so he later added sand and picnic tables for all visitors. Now, it is an iconic, yet wacky, piece of history to get to see. Although you can no longer swim in the water, you still have to stop by and climb on the giant whale. You can see the giant slides featured on the side of the whale where people once enjoyed their summers, along with a lot of great wildlife in the pond from the end of the whale.
