Victorville, California

The California Route 66 Museum is located in downtown Victorville, California. Admission is free, although donations are welcome, and the sights you see once you get inside will be priceless. Along with tons of memorabilia from the 50s (some even earlier than that), there is also a few great photo ops you will get along the way. One photo op you have to stop at is the 50s diner, complete with the old school sundae to take a picture with. (Just make sure not to actually try and eat it!) Don’t forget to hop inside the old school VW bus they have and take some pictures, which also has wigs and sunglasses in it to help you complete your old school vibe. Later on in the museum, you will come across the Santa Monica picture op, which has a few seats at an old school bar top full on route 66 souvenirs. For those who need a laugh, stop by the outhouse photo op and take a few silly selfies in the old school outhouse! However, one photo op no one should pass up is the old school Model T Ford car that sits proudly in a room of its own.
