Cruisin’ with Lincoln on 66 Visitors Center can be found in downtown Bloomington on the first floor of the McLean County Museum of History. In this visitor’s center, you will get to learn about two important historic factors in Illinois, Route 66’s history and Lincolns travels while in Illinois. Not only will you get to see a map of where all Lincoln traveled and why, but you can compare it to Route 66 and where all travelers and the past have had the chance to explore. You can even get your own personal copy of the maps, so that you can take them along and stop where Lincoln has once stood. You will even get the chance to see some small videos about Lincoln and his travels.
