El Reno, Oklahoma
Fort Reno used to be an Army Calvary post and was named after General Jesse L. Reno. You can see the classic fort, as well as different cannons from the Civil War. On top of that, all over the fort there are signs that explain why everything is set up the way it is. Even outside, by the cannon, you will get to know exactly what happened to this cannon throughout history. The fort itself has an interesting history, because the people in this fort have interacted with people of all kinds. From Native Americans, to Germans and Italians, almost every heritage has stepped through the doors of this fort.
