Joliet, Illinois

The Joliet Area Historical Museum can be found in Joliet, and will tell you all about the history of Joliet. Formerly an old Methodist church, now it horst a museum full of artifacts and complete with a route 66 welcome center as soon as you walk in. They also have a giant dining hall, which is occupied by the local culinary students and is open to the public The museum has a special hall for almost everything you can imagine that happened in the town, even a NASA engineer that helped with the Apollo mission years ago and was from Joliet, Illinois.
