Baxter Springs, Kansas

The Kansas Route 66 visitor’s center is located in a building that is full of history. What used to be an old Phillips 66 gas station has now been converted into this visitor’s center, and is now one of the last ones still standing on route 66. Built in 1930, this building is now on a part of the historical society, and is a great chance to snap some cool photos and stretch your legs while driving down the road. You can also buy a lot of cool knick knacks at the gift shop, and of course can get some snacks to eat while driving down the road.
