Downtown Los Angeles, California

The Los Angeles’ historic theaters is a set of 8 theaters that all have great history behind them. The first is the San Gabriel Mission Playhouse (http://missionplayhouse.org/), which features tapestries from the King of Spain and a beautifully hand carved and painted ceiling. Next, is the Chinese Theater, which still plays movies to this day but has amazing Chinese architecture on the outside and inside. Along with those, is the Million Dollar Theater that was designed with the Spanish style of Churrigueresque on the outside of the theater. The Rialto Theater in Pasadena is also included in the historic theaters, even though at this moment you can only view its beauty from the outside. There are also 4 other theaters featured in the historic theaters of Los Angeles, including the Globe Theater, Palace Theater, Tower Theater, and United Artist.
