For any baseball fans, especially Yankee fans, I am sure that you are already eager to stop by and see Mickey Mantle’s childhood home in Commerce, Oklahoma. I bet you didn’t know, however, about the two statues that he has along route 66. There is a statue of him in his hometown of commerce, right outside of his old high school by the Mickey Mantle fields. You will see him strongly swinging the bat, and can almost feel the wind coming from it. Not too far from there, in Oklahoma City, he has another statue of him striking the (almost) exact same pose. In Oklahoma City, you can find Mickey Mantle downtown, just outside of the third base entrance at the local baseball stadium. The only difference you will notice between the two statues, is that in one he is swinging left handed, and in the other he is swinging right handed.
