Elk City, Oklahoma

The National Route 66 Museum in Oklahoma is a great new way to see the history of route 66. Capturing its own version of history, see tons of old farming tools as well as learn about how farms were ran back in the day. Of course, there is also a ton of route 66 souvenirs, and even some great old gas pumps that you can see while you are there. On top of that all, there is also a lot of cool rodeo art that you can observe and be able to visualize how it was back in the old western days. There is even a recreation of an old western town, complete with a church, fire station, newspaper office, homes and more.
