Tucumcari, New Mexico

The New Mexico Route 66 Museum is one of the most interesting free museums you will ever find. Here you can see amazing artifacts such as old gas pumps, juke boxes, and more. They have various classic cars as well, such as the extremely popular 1929 Ford Model a Sedan, and a 1937 Studebaker President. It is a small museum, but all of the staff have a lot of knowledge about the artifacts in the museum as well as route 66 itself. This museum is a little different from the rest, because it is not open daily, so it is always good to check ahead and see if they are open by clicking here (https://www.facebook.com/nmrt66museum).
