For those of you who don’t know, a wild burro is another term for a wild donkey. In Oatman, Arizona, is where you will experience some of the tamest wild burros that are in America to this day. Oatman is a small town along route 66, less than 200 residents who all live for these wild burros. You can travel around the main street early morning and watch these wild burros travel down from the mountains, and even purchase carrots in local stores to feed them. Everyone who visits speaks on how nice the burros are to the people. Interesting fact, these burros did not reside around this town until long ago when local miners left them in the area. After so long, they started wandering to the town daily for food and water. My guess would be, the wild burros also enjoy the company of all their visitors.
