The Oklahoma Route 66 Museum in Clinton, Oklahoma is definitely a hidden jewel you won’t want to miss. One interesting thing that sticks this museum apart, is that you get to travel room to room by eras in time. Before you enter a room, you will enter a hallway that is full of newspapers from that time you are about to walk into, and that helps you transition from era to era. Also, who doesn’t love to see old newspapers from iconic times? On top of that, they have some amazing exhibits such as a replica of an old school soda fountain. There are some interactive booths as well, such as using old school radios, and scrolling through newspapers from any era imaginable.
