Another stop in the beautiful town of Joliet, Illinois is Rialto Square Theatre. Originally opening up in 1926 as a movie palace, it now host many plays, concerts, and comedians. The building itself has gone through many owners, and almost closed in the 70’s until the city bound together to save the rialto square theatre. It currently host some of the most popular stars, but the architecture alone is enough to keep you in awe, and was done by a great Sicilian architect that goes by the name of Eugene Romeo. They have a hall of mirrors, a lavish lobby, and even the ‘jewel of joliet’, which is a beautiful art piece on the ceiling of an angel.
