The Ribbon Road, or Sidewalk Highway, is a stretch of route 66 that stretches from Afton to Miami in Oklahoma. The reason it is given this name is because the road is just that, about the size of a sidewalk. It measures at 9 feet in diameter, and was originally laid out in 1921. Although it was only in use until 1937, and most of it is covered up by another highway, you can still find 2 pieces of this road. The first one can be found on your way into Afton, and the other one is found on the other side of Miami leaving out.
