The sixth street historic district is 13 blocks in downtown Amarillo, Texas that are full of beautiful buildings that are full of history. There is where you will find places such as the Nat ballroom, which was opened back in the early 30s. You can also find an old Phillips 66 gas station, as well as an old Texaco station. Stop by the Dutch Mill Service Station and Café for a bite to eat at the oldest diner in the city. This district also offers many shops and gift stores, and even a lot to do in the evenings as far as entertainment goes.
